ManAdvantage’s mission is to provide children affected by the death or disability of a parent with the opportunity to continue or begin their involvement in the sport of hockey, through the use of corporate sponsors and fundraising. Hockey can make a difference in a child’s life by teaching self-esteem, teamwork and a multitude of other life skills. Our goal is to make sure that no child has to forego the opportunity to play hockey due to misfortune that results from the death or disability of a parent.
If your child has experienced the death of a parent, or has a parent that is disabled, he or she qualifies to apply for our scholarship program.
If you’re passionate about hockey, have experienced the death or disability of a parent, or simply want to see a kid experience the joy of playing hockey, please consider making a donation.
ManAdvantage holds several events throughout the year so that we can raise money for scholarship funds. We depend on volunteers to staff these events and are always looking for extra help.
